I saw this article today. About a 16 year old girl who's making a big effort to get Valentine's Day cards to troops in Iraq, calling the campaign 'Hearts for Heroes.' So I made up some cards for her to send. Her goal this Valentine's Day is for 140,000 valentines. This isn't the first year she's done this, last year people donated 50,000 cards for the troops in Iraq. That is so WOW!!!
She says it's a big goal but she really wants to get it. Maybe you'll like to help. To help Amy Berger with 'Hearts for Heroes e-mail Fanafashn611@yahoo.com
In the article it says you should address it simply "Dear Hero" or "My Hero" and add whatever well wishes and thoughts you desire. Last year's deadline was Valentine's Day, But Berger said as long as people donate cards, they'll send them. Either handmade or store bought cards.

Well, you've been busy. Great work. I love your detailed explanation of how you made the card for the contest. It gives the non-artists a feel for just how much work goes into card making.
