daisy delight

On the green card I put a window. Where inside the card I painted a daisy. Around the window I wrapped a ribbon . The other card I painted the daisies on gold metallic paper and matted onto a textured gold paper.
The bottom of the card is torn and I adhered the textured gold paper to the inside of the card. I'm having fun painting on different paper besides card stock and seeing the different effects I get. This card I also put ribbon on.

Fun with color

green card stock and green mulberry paper are used on this sunflower. With the sunflower I cut it out after I painted it. And then adhered it to the card with pop dots. On the red card I put a ribbon at the top.
On all three cards I cut out the sunflower and raised it using pop dots.

pansy showcase

3 different colors of pansies 4 different card layouts. The top left purple pansies. I used a #12 flat brush. On the card, the top corner pansy I cut out and put a 3D glue dot to adhere it. Top right berry wine pansy, using a 3/4" flat brush, is also cut out and raised with a glue dot. The bottom left pansy I also

cut out and raised and double matted. The bottom right I wrapped cord around and single matted the popped up yellow pansy. With these cards I matted the flowers, with my others I painted right on the cards. Let me know what you think of the matting.

I've been painting flowers for almost 2 years. I got interested when I saw a painting show on TV and bought some painting books and started practicing the technique. I totally enjoy painting. Leave your comments, I enjoy hearing from you.

Palm trees

This summer I took a trip to California to visit my sister. Of course I had to paint some palm trees on cards. What a fun trip I had in sunny California. Can't you just feel the sun when you look at this card?

Judy's flower garden

This card was inspired by my sister-in-law's flower garden. It's the most gorgeous flower garden. She has a passion for gardening, and alot of time is spent with her flowers. Some she even starts from seed. The card is of a few of the flowers planted in her garden.

tulips

a spring time favorite in our yard. We plant the bulbs all over, so it's an explosion of color come spring time. I used magenta to paint these tulips.

crocus

I like these, and so do the bunnies in our yard. They love to eat the crocus when they come up in the spring.
