paper bag

I made this card awhile back, but it uses a paper bag which is the challenge at Chrissyd723.blogspot.com

To answer your question Chris , from the golf cards . I made my own template out of cardboard and punched holes in it to emboss the holes on

the golfballs.

With the open sack you can see better how it's folded to make the card. The stapled ribbon then holds down the flap. I inked the flap .

watercoloring

I used watercolor pencils to color in the golfers.

The card sketches are from a card magazine, Friends and Flowers by Pine cone press.

Added some ribbons, golf balls and made them my own. Did some stitching and cut out copies of golf tees to add to the cards.

Chrissyd723.blogspot.com The challenge this week is watercoloring. Do some coloring it's very theraputic.

mojo monday challenge week 41

I had leftover paper from last week's card , so why not use that.

The painted mauve flower goes great with this paper .

It's a two sided paper solid on one side striped on the other side.
Used white brads to attach the vellum which I stamped the Happy birthday on.
Also brads in the upper right corner.
The flower center is punched out of silver glitter paper.

salt faith challenge

I haven't done an altered book for awhile, so here's the cover of one I'm working on.

Used the Psalm 18:2.

For the salt faith challenge it's any Psalm that you wanted to use, in any creative way.

At first I was going for the mountain effect with the torn paper, but with the striped paper it reminded me of fields, so I painted some wheat in the lower corner. The sun I had fun with, glued layers of yellow mulberry paper and some gold paper for a textured effect. And added the gold stickles paint to the center.
The verse I printed off the computer.
And the final touch of the birds in flight.
The book is a child's board book.

swan card

No sketch with this card, just had fun painting.
Started with a paint wash for the water . The cat tails added some interest to the pond.
Mounted the painting on the blue card.
