Info on pumpkin card
I started with a 11x41/4 card
then scored it at 2inches and at 71/4inches.
To secure the left flap I punched the holes and inserted the floss and tied it.
The right flap is tucked under the left flap.
The left flap edge I cut with scallop scissors and punched the hole at each scallop.
The card edges are distressed with an orange ink pad.

This is a two fold card.
The pumpkins are painted on both sides.

Floss is strung through the flap.
The Belli challenge for this week is to do a project with a Thanksgiving theme.
Chris's blog is Chrissyd723.blogspot.com
I won the drawing for last week! Thanks Chris!

Spain inspired card
The grapes, the roses, the geranium blossoms, all bring back memories of my Spain journey.
I used berry wine and white for the grapes and geranium blossoms.
The rose is painted using yellow, white and berry wine colors.
Some grapes and blossoms I cut out and used pop dots to adhere to the card.
The images are mounted on a brown DP .
And adhered to a cream card.

Hydrangea
While walking through the villages of Spain, there were many lovely gardens full of color.
Hydrangeas were so pretty with the gorgeous flowers.
So I picked the Hydrangea to paint, and while I painted it thought back to the beauty of Spain.
It was truely an incredible journey walking through northern Spain.

CHURCHES IN SPAIN
The churches I recreated by painting a silhouette of them for these two cards.
I traced the churches and them painted them black.
Painted the sky and some mountains and trees.
The sky I used aqua paint and also for the mountains, black for the trees.
I really liked the photos so it was fun to recreate them into a card.
I like the results.

GRAPES
Just a few more grape cards and then on to other Spain inspired card creations.
With these cards I used a clear dimensional embellishment by Inkssentials on some of the grapes and leaves to give them a raised effect.
And on the one card I added Alizarin Crimson color to the leaves for a splash of color.
I use FolkArt acrylic paints. The DP is from Stampin'Up.

Spain inspired card #1
While walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain we walked through many vineyards. They were so gorgeous with the grapes hanging on the vines. When I get the pictures from the trip I'll post some for you to view. Spain is a beautiful country.
So for my first painting after my journey in Spain, I chose to paint these grape clusters.
The white grapes I cut out and mounted to the DP from Stampin' Up.
Some of the leaves I cut out and mounted with pop dots.
All the DP is Stampin' Up paper.
I used acrylic paints.

Thanks Shirley
I received a 'I love your blog' award from Shirley
over at www.cardartetc.blogspot.com
Thanks Shirley for your lovely comments.
Well, I'm back from Spain and wanting to paint.
Hopefully soon that will happen. My body was on jetlag to a few days
and I'm still not in the groove.
Check back though and see all the inspiration I got from the beauty of Spain.
I tried to put the logo of the award on my blog, but I failed . Shirley, any tips to do that would be appreciated, thanks.
