My Mom loved to plant flowers around the home where we grew up. The Iris was one of those flowers. I used Night sky and wicker white to paint the Iris. Also I put floating medium on the brush and side loaded into the night sky color and shaded around the Iris, to make it stand out more.

Ah, I got a little teary eyed with this card. The flower is beautiful. I will have to forward a link to a friend who adores the Iris flower. Maybe she'll order some cards.
