I painted on fabric and sewed it to a brown CS panel , then zig-zagged the panel to the card Happy birthday is stamped using staz-on ink. Orange, yellow and burnt umber are the paint colors I used for the flowers.
Two more cards. The top card is fabric sown to the card and a smaller piece of fabric topstitched to it. Then I outlined that with 4 rows of stitches. The bottom card I used the embossed paper. added the brads to the image corners. The image is a stencil that I used the texture medium with. Added a ribbon to the card.
One small change in my studio, and what a difference. It's more inviting. Opened up the door view. Maybe that's what I like about it. Now I can sit on the futon and watch the birds outside without the desk blocking my view.
This card I made for my father-in-law. The oak leaf is cut out of felt and I attached it to the fabric with a blanket stitch. The acorn is painted, I used texture medium for the cap of the acorn and then painted it. I outlined the acorn with a black extra fine tip marker.
